WoW, busy weekend…

….But an enjoyable one, apart from a massive flare up – but best place to be when this happens in my little sewing room – concentration on something else helps.

Well were do I start….I had an order form a previous customer, who asked me to design and make a 1st anniversary card for her daughter and daughter in law. I can say she liked what I did.  Although I can preview, I cannot show the whole card as the anniversary  hasn’t gone yet and there is a chance her daughter will see it.

Here is a sneak preview – very sneak…

There is more on this card than shown, but all will be revealed.

Fete preparation is going well and some of the items I have made will be added to my shop. As previously all sewn items can be made to order and fabric will vary from what s shown. Just chose your colour scheme and I will do the rest…

I have made some fabric boxes that can be used for anything really from your bathroom with bits and pieces in, bath essential. Or I have made mine in prep for the fete to keep the cards in and the Napkins. I can make these in a set if required and again can be made to order… Just tell me the colour scheme. Ideal Christmas gifts stuffed with toiletries…Already have an idea for our ageing Aunty…

I am also continuing with the jewellery which will be added to the shop, very soon and there will be lots available at the fete if you can make it – be good to see you. Come and say hello and that you read my blog and receive a 5% discount…

I have made a pin cushion that needs refining but a quirky cube that will hold “loads and loads of pins and needles” – various fabric and can be made to order and a fantastic stocking filler at Christmas

Well my friends I have had a lovely weekend, and doing things I love…

Ok – this was an experiment… We have from this:

to this and I am so pleased with how it turned out…

Beautiful Linen day tote over the shoulder bag, line with contrasting fabric – with matching sunglasses pouch… Love it and if you have stuff that doesn’t fit you , like this didn’t me…Think about what you could turn it into….

Oh yes before I go… My hubby and I attended a garden party that a friend was hosting in aid of “Blood Line” for people suffering with blood cancer….Something very close to our hearts here in our family. Our father died of Blood Cancer, not your typical Leukaemia, but a different strain, that saw his life come to abrupt end. Anyway, we attended the afternoon and was privileged to donate a raffle prize, so what better than where I started. Napkins!! They were well received and I hope the recipient loves them…. Incidentally our friend is doing a 100 mile bike ride  two weeks today so please if you wish to sponsor him and help beat blood cancer here is the link to follow:

Here is the napkins I gave as a raffle prize – all can be made to order and again just let me know your colour scheme…

Well friends – I will sign off now and spend some quality time with hubby. Don’t forget to view my shop and follow me on social media…. All have a good week x 🙂
